History

The PharmaGroup division was created to provide expertise to the pharmaceutical industry in developing new ways of increasing medical therapy compliance by creating impactful touch points throughout a patient's lifecycle on a program. Argus PharmaGroup combines the resources of a solid industry leader with the agility and responsiveness of a smaller company.

Argus Health Systems was established in 1983. The company quickly grew to become one of the largest pharmacy claims processors in the industry, with more than 550 million claims processed in 2012.

Argus Health Systems is privately held and free from conflicts of interest resulting from industry ownership. Argus is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DST Systems, Inc. DST's world-class data centers provide technology infrastructure support for mutual fund companies, health care providers, banks, mortgage bankers and insurance companies around the globe. DST is headquartered in Kansas City, MO, and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: DST).

Argus Health Systems supports a wide range of clients and key healthcare organizations, from managed care organizations and PBMs, to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and clinical research organizations.
