Acquisition, Compliance and Adherence Programs
Program Offerings
Point of Sale Alternative Sampling and Loyalty Cards
Our point of sale programs provide support to patients, encouraging them to start on therapy, remain on therapy and to take their medications as prescribed. This support involves removing price barriers, providing information on their prescribed product and sending refill reminders to encourage compliance and adherence. Alternative sampling (vouchers) allows a pharmaceutical company to track "samples" that are provided to patients rather than bypassing valuable initial consultations with their pharmacist.
Copay Assistance
Our copay assistance programs allow patients with insurance to receive help with their out-of-pocket costs. These programs provide benefit on the portion of the claim remaining after a primary payer adjudicates for the insurance covered portion. This can help "level the playing field" when a drug is not on a preferred tier but deemed as medically necessary for the patient.
Event-Based Management
Event-based management programs are designed to promote compliance and persistency. Our programs work with individual patient timelines and are designed to support patient segmentation. We can track purchases to allow for refill reminders and can also provide critical touch points based on drop-off trends for products. Offers may include healthy lifestyle offerings; premiums such as medical diaries, cookbooks or blood testing kits; disease management tools; and talking points to encourage patients to continue their wellness dialogue with their healthcare providers.
Health Plan Partnerships
To increase compliance and persistency, our health plan partnership programs are designed to support drugs on formulary for health plan clients. These programs can help all stakeholders in healthcare create a winning environment for patient compliance and disease management.
Disease Management
Our disease management programs offer disease state therapeutic support to improve compliance and persistency. Refill reminders can be triggered by purchase frequency. Support, both online and offline, may include disease management educational information and communications, support groups, outcomes-based surveys, and loyalty programs.
